Adobe Ending Sale of Boxed Creative Suite Products

We have been supplying Adobe Creative Suite software as licences for a few months now without any complaints, but if you like to have your software in a box then you'll be disappointed to hear that Adobe will stop shipment of boxed versions of Creative Suite products from April 30th 2013.

In future, within 48 hours of your Adobe purchase you will receive an e-mail from Adobe directing you to the Adobe Licensing Web Site where you can collect your Adobe serial number and download the software. You can download the software as often as you wish.

We appreciate that for a small number of people this will be an inconvenience, but feel that the change will benefit the vast majority with lower pricing and the end of stock shortages. It will also reduce software piracy as you'll no longer be able to buy 'grey' imports or have to worry that your software is genuine.

Adobe Upgrade pricing is changing. From January 1st 2013 Adobe are changing their upgrade policy, if you are a CS3 or CS4 users you need to act now or your next upgrade could be a lot more expensive.

Adobe’s policy of discounting upgrades from three revisions back ends on December 31st 2012. After that date only upgrades from the previous version will be discounted, users of older versions will have to pay full price. For instance an upgrade to Design & Web Premium CS6 from CS3 could cost you £1,000 more.

Wacom Iinkling Relaunched

The amazing Wacom Inkling is a digital sketch pen allows you to sketch with a real ballpoint pen on any paper. While you are drawing, all strokes are recorded electronically which can then be imported as raster or vector artwork for further editing.

nik Software Issues

Since Google's takeover of Nik Software we have been unable to aquire new stock of Nik products. Unfortunately, we do not have a clear picture of the future of Nik Software as Google are not giving out any information. Reluctantly, we have had to remove all educational products and all out of stock products until further notice. We hope that Google will resume production and support of their very popular and useful utilities soon.

Education will still be our specialist sector and we'll still be focused on the provision of hardware and software at reduced prices to students, teachers and education. But everyone is welcome to take advantage of our prices and service.

Items that carry an educational discount and that are only available to educational users are clearly marked as such. Manufacturers provide these student discounts on their products to qualifying universities, colleges, schools and students. Some manufacturers also allow us to give discounts to lecturers, teachers and other educational staff. In many cases these discounts are also available to registered charities. Proof of status is required to obtain the discounts.

Educational software from Adobe, Microsoft, Quark, OnOne and most others is identical to the full retail product. However, Google Sketchup licences last for only 14 months and Vectorworks student licences show a watermark on printed output.

Our standard delivery charge is £7.00 plus VAT per order. We delivery by courier direct from the UK distributor. Delivery is during business hours Monday - Friday. A signature is required for all deliveries.
