Why the change? We've noticed a little confusion with other retailers and also confusion about who can buy from us. The name software4education is very close to other retailers in this section and to be honest, whilst we checked all UK registered names we didn't look at other non-UK companies when we chose our name. We don't want our customers losing out by choosing the wrong site.
Whilst we focus on education, something we're not changing, the name software4education led some cutomers to think that they can't buy from us. We'd don't want to deter anyone and hope that the new name helps to clarify the issue.

Adobe Educational Product ChangesAdobe have changed the way they provide software in small quantities to educational institutions and charities.
Software used to be supplied as boxed products with the end user buying as many boxes as required. Adobe have now moved to a licensing model with electonic software delivery (ESD).
When you buy software you will receive and e-mail with access to the Adobe Licensing Web Site (LWS). The web site has your software serial numbers and the links to download the software. If you do not have download facilities or prefer to have the software on DVD, you can order a media kit for the product.
Adobe will also be restricting the sales of educational licences to Certified Resellers only from April 1st 2012. software4education are an Adobe Certified Reseller with sales staff who have achieved Adobe Certified Sales Professional, Master status. |
nik Software IssuesSince Google's takeover of Nik Software we have been unable to aquire new stock of Nik products. Unfortunately, we do not have a clear picture of the future of Nik Software as Google are not giving out any information. Reluctantly, we have had to remove all educational products and all out of stock products until further notice.
