Do I Qualify For Educational Discounts? Many manufacturers offer educational discounts on their hardware or software. There are significant savings to be made by qualified users, but how do you know if you are able to buy at the reduced rate?
In all cases we will require proof of current enrolment at, or employment by an Educational Establishment or an educational entity before we can ship educational products.
A NUS, Student ID or Teacher's registration card showing expiry date at the end of or beyond the current academic year is sufficient proof of status. Alternatively, an official document such as a student loan agreement letter, letter confirming enrolment, or similar dated for this academic year or a letter from the educational institution is necessary.
Where ID does not show an expiry date, further proof of employment or study, such as a payslip (personal details hidden if preferred), letter of enrolment, or other document will be required.
For school pupils, where an ID card is not issued, a school report from this academic year showing pupil name, school year and school details or a letter confirming attendance is required.
This list is not comprehensive please ask if you are unsure if a document is sufficient. Whilst we have a good idea of what will be acceptable the final decision is made by the UK distributor and occasionally they will refuse proof that we think is acceptable.
Please order on-line and then fax proof of status to 01295 211263 or scan and e-mail to sales@software4education.co.uk. |
